Picture 8Gottlieb has always been the innovator of the pinball industry, and they have released some of the best and most classic machines out there. Gottlieb, based out of Chicago, started making bar style games back in 1927 and have produced machines during the 3 generations of pinball. They first created fully mechanical machines, then in the 1930's they produced electro mechanical machine, and finally in the 70's the solid states.

More particularly we are talking about the early solid state pinball machines that are vintage gems.  You can buy one for a fairly reasonable price in online auctions.  If you have a pinball collection or are looking to start one, then a vintage Gottlieb machine is pretty much a must have.  Its pretty much like adding a beautiful 1970's muscle car to your car collection.

Some of the older machines are ones like Buck Rodgers, 2001, Count Down, Genie, Spin Out, Incredible Hulk, Torch, and Roller Disco.  These are just amazing Machines and you can buy one in auction from reputable dealers.
