The most popular Pinball Machine of all time

Well whether you knew it or not, the most popular and most widely sold Pinball Machine of all time is ‘Addams Family’. This comes as no surprise to pinball enthusiasts, but it may surprise someone out there.  The pinball machine is based off the 1991 movie ‘Addams Family’, which led to the March of 1992 release of this machine.  It is produced by Bally Midway, and in total there were 20,270 units sold.

Galaga / Ms Pac-Man Combo Arcade Machine (Namco)

The class of 1981 was a very accomplished one, and the class reunion is good for all of us. That class of ’81 that we are talking about features some of the best arcade games of all time in ‘Galaga’ and ‘Ms Pac-Man’.

Vintage Gottlieb Pinball Machines

Gottlieb has always been the innovator of the pinball industry, and they have released some of the best and most classic machines out there. Gottlieb, based out of Chicago, started making bar style games back in 1927 and have produced machines during the 3 generations of pinball. They first created fully mechanical machines, then in the 1930′s they produced electro mechanical machine, and finally in the 70′s the solid states.

‘Batman’ – pinball Data East 1991

Here is a very cool machine from 1991, of the first ‘Batman’ movie from 1989.  So this isn’t any kind of new Batman game, this is the original, and it’s as cool as they come.  This would be a nice piece for any uber ‘Batman’ fan.
The game was made by DATA EAST and released in August of 1991, and features some pretty cool stuff.  The backglass is pictured  with Batman, Joker, and Vicki Vale; who are played by Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, and Kim Basinger.  The playfield features image and …

A Nightmare on Elm Street – pinball

Here is something really cool for all you horror/Freddy Krueger lovers out there. Its the ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ pinball machine made by Gottlieb. The machine released back in 1994 and there were only 2,800 of them produced. It such a cool machine that plays really well.
The playfield of the game incorporates all the cool stuff from the movie franchise, including a giant talking Freddy head. The lights and sounds are amazing on this machine, and any true Freddy lover would regret not picking one of …

Star Trek: The Next Generation – Pinball

This amazing Star Trek machine was released in 1993 by Williams Pinball.  This is the third Star Trek machine to be released, and also recieved the highest rating of the three.
The machine itself features voices from the main character from the Next Generation show. It features 7 missions or episodes to play before the player actually reaches the Final Frontier.  There are warp modes and other factors in the game, as well as artifacts to collect for bonuses in the Final Frontier. Simpsons Pinball Machine

Being a big fan of the show I think this is one of the coolest machines, and its the Simpsons pinball machine, of course based off the hit TV show.
The machine was released in 1990 by Data East Pinball. It features crazy and colorful artwork, and sounds from the show.  The playfield incorporates thing from all over Springfield, like the nuclear powerplant and the bowling alley.  The images and influences are more specifically from the first season of the show.
